IS YOUR CARD REAL?
Counterfeit Pokémon cards and resealed sealed product are everywhere — and the good fakes are genuinely hard to spot in a listing photo. Upload photos of any card or sealed item and get an honest read on it: what looks wrong, what looks right, and the physical checks to confirm it for yourself.
Works on anything — it doesn't have to be bought from Pokebay.
Photograph it
Front, back, and the holo at an angle. Up to four photos — more angles, better read.
We look for the tells
Print dot pattern, holo behaviour, colour, fonts, borders, corners and the back swirl.
You confirm it
You get red flags, a confidence score, and the physical checks that actually settle it.
What this can and can't tell you
This is photo-based triage, not a certificate. Several of the tests that actually settle the question are physical — the weight of a pack, the light test through the card, the rip test — and no photo can do them for you. So it tells you where to look and how confident it is, and it will say “uncertain” rather than guess. Treat a good result as “nothing obviously wrong”, not as a guarantee, and do the physical checks before spending real money.
Buying on Pokebay itself? Every order is covered by buyer protection — if an item isn't as described, you get your money back.
